1. The Future 6min30sec
Dir. Mackenzie Walsh

My film directly reflects how I want to live life in the future. It reminds, to let loose every now and then and enjoy what life has to offer! It is also a way of saying goodbye to my past high school self and welcoming my new self!

2. Jeff and Kevin and the Dead Cow 8min19sec
Dir. Todd Fraser

Jeff and Kevin are recent art school graduates from Sackville, New Brunswick. Kevin lives in Jeff’s apartment sleeping on a futon. After leading Jeff to a dead cow Kevin discovered while jogging, the pair walk off into the sunset together.

3. Noah, 18 ans (Noah, 18 years old) 11min15sec

4. Meet Me Zummer 3min
Director: Lucas Morneau

5. Daphnee 8min47sec
Director: André Melanson

The real and the imagined confront each other against the backdrop of trauma. When dream betrays desire, the realms of possibility collapse.

6. Le Grous Poisson 2min35sec
Dir. Tracey Richard

Inspired by Acadian culture and its vocabulary, this experimental work combines original video, digital drawings and archives to explore the sound of words from New Brunswick to Louisiana.

7. Matin Ecchymose 7min27sec
Director: Emilie Peltier

8. Into the Impossible (Vivre l’impossible) 6min16sec
Director. Tracey Richard

In this classic greek myth of mother Demeter and daughter Persephone, seasons change in an experimental short film portrayed by flowers. Following the unexpected loss of their grandfather, twin sisters and filmmakers Angie and Tracey Richard deliver an emotional portrayal of grief and adjusting to changes by using their late grandfather’s funeral flower arrangements.

9. ####### 2min11sec
Dir. Dan Smeby & Jim O’Brian Jr.

This short film encapsulates the closing evening of Toronto's *TOM Mens Fashion Week, when the runway became the dance floor with an original score by the performing DJ, Jim O’Brien Jr.

10. Jolt 6min20sec
Dir. Angie Richard

Jolt is a experimental music video that showcases individual rebellion through the lens of an imagined techno nightlife. We are slowly pulled into a hyper-imagined underground world where we meet people from various communities who show us stories of transness, self expression, and ancestral trauma.

Lisa J. Griffin

Co-founder and Executive Director of L’Art ici SVP & Festival Inspire
Lisa is a Community Development Hack living in Moncton Canada. A project junkie, who turns ideas into community movements globally for over 15 years. She studied IDS at Dalhousie Uni and ESD from Murdoch Uni in Australia. Living on a boat taught her that change is the only thing that remains constant. She has a robotic hand from Japan, a fake tooth from Australia, and a yoga teaching cert from India. Her spirit animal is the Otter, Chinese zodiac year of the monkey; and she's an Aquarius. Not an artist herself but a believer of life itself as an art; she is constantly looking at walls and sees the city as a blank canvas for art and culture. Lisa likes coffee and people who invite her to have one over talks about cool ideas.
