7:30pm Sky's the limit, painters of the extrem

Screening of the documentary "Sky is the limit, painters of the extreme" by Jérôme Thomas. In French + English subtitles

The documentary narrates the history of international muralism as a growing worldwide phenomenon. Jérome worked with ten worlwide artists with interviews about the way they define what they do and why they do it.

Screening followed by panel of muralists about activism through the arts.

7:30pm Water on the table - documentary screening

Documentary screening
Water On The Table is a character-driven, social-issue documentary by Liz Marshall that explores Canada's relationship to its freshwater, arguably its most precious natural resource. The film asks the question: Is water a commercial good like running shoes or Coca-Cola? Or, is water a human right like air?

Followed by a discussion panel with local NB Water Warriors

Wednesday July 12th

5:00pm Mass drumming circle

Free collective drumming session
Gather to drum in the "circle" with others from the community. The main objective is to share rhythm and get in tune with each other and yourself. To form a group consciousness. To entrain and resonate. A collective voice, emerges from the group as people drum together.
Bring your instruments and lets drum !

6:00pm Colour Party

Crazy and colourful party in the park
Inspired by Holi, an indian celebration of springtime, the Colour Party is the time to celebrate the new colors in the city... and on each one of you! Get ready to transform into a human canvas! 

This very popular event takes place annually in Moncton's parks with DJ sets, fire-spinning and a lot of surprises!
Let's light the Inspire wonderland !

Short movies screening under the stars
"C'est Right Short" is a unique event of bilingual international short movies screening organised by FICFA.
For the fisrt time the screening will take place outdoor for a great community moment in the park.

4:00pm Craft Beer Village

The Atlantic beer garden is open
Downing street will be closed to traffic to let the place to the whole Moncton Craft Brewers Association. Festival Inspire opens an ephemeral craft beer village and let you enjoy local delights in this outdoor paradise.

6:00pm Pump House Crawl Show

An exclusive art night in private locations
Let our "pied piper" bring you in a tour full of surprises in very special places of Moncton Downtown. A new art performance and some tasty surprises on each location! This event will be open to only 50 guests.

Live performance in store
This event will feature live painting from French Artist Lucas Beaufort in the Working Class Menswear shop.
Lucas will paint on a giant photograph print from local artist.

8:30pm Disco Bike Ride

A disco themed tour for hundreds of bikes
Pimp your bike with mirror balls, wear your sequined blazer and that 70's wig from your tickle trunk and embark with us for an art-filled Disco Bike Ride with lights and live DJs! 250 bikers gathered in 2016 for this insane event organised with La Bikery.

A full day of art and fun
Festival Inspire settle in Downing street with dozens of artists and have a day like no other. From noon to midnight we have a fun and colorful program of: live music, performances, street art, design market, craft beer village, food art, buskers, dancers, aerial performances, circus, dance, and insane surprises as only Inspire can organise.
